The B-to-B food ingredients supplier Bösch Boden Spies (BBS) is expanding its service port-folio for professional users in Europe: With the launch of an online shop at www.bbs-eshop.com, the food trade specialist from Hamburg, which has been successful for over 100 years, now offers its expertise and service online.
The new e-shop offers 17 dried fruit and nut specialties (including cranberries, cherries, snack almonds, pecans) directly from the leading global brand producers. The possible order quantity ranges from one case to a pallet. Sample quantities may also be ordered for tasting. The store solution impresses with its clear design and simple and intuitive navigation. The customer receives his order within a maximum of five working days.
“With the launch of our B2B online shop, we are consistently following our growth strategy by further adapting our service portfolio to the digital requirements of the market. Our e-shop enables our customers to organize their procurement processes digitally and thus more efficiently. It only takes a few minutes from login to order confirmation,” says Dirk Schmidt, Managing Partner, who is responsible for the digitization strategy at Bösch Boden Spies within the management team.
“The special feature of the shop is the transparent procurement of raw materials from our global brand producers. In addition to the specification, direct information about the pro-ducer, cultivation and processing in the origin is also provided during the online ordering process,” Schmidt continues.
The e-shop was developed on the Salesforce Customer 360 platform and implemented with the support of Lufthansa Industry Solutions. The store offer is initially available in Germany and will be successively expanded to other European countries in the coming months.
