Nestlé cuts sugar by 10 % in UK

Nestlé rolled out a plan to reduce the sugar content in its products in UK by 10 % until 2018. Nestlé will therefore cut 7,500 tons of sugar out of the products just by reformulation and new production technologies. The company said the reformulation will not affect the taste of the products. All over Europe the reformulation will be equivalent to at least 18,000 tons of sugar reduction.
