On the occasion of the general meeting of the VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association held on 20 June in Frankfurt, a new board was elected. It consists of the 21 board members of in total six specialist departments and is elected for a period of three years. For the Confectionery Machinery Department, Markus Rustler, Theegarten-Pactec GmbH & Co.KG, was elected as the new Chairman. Rainer Runkel, Winkler und Dünnebier Süßwarenmaschinen GmbH, was confirmed as Deputy Chairman and Rainer Zimmermann, AZO GmbH & Co. KG, was confirmed as another member of the board.
Ralf Schäffer retires
Ralf Schäffer of Sollich KG, who will retire at the end of the year, said goodbye to the board at the general meeting. Richard Clemens, Managing Director of the VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association, thanked him on behalf of the VDMA and the member companies for his many years of commitment to the association and to the interpack Advisory Board.
