5m USD for education in Ghana and Ivory Coast

The big four chocolate manufacturers Nestlé, Barry Callebaut, Mars and Mondelēz International cooperates with the Jacobs Foundation to support to support about 72.000 adults and 16.000 children within the next three years. The companies are spending 5 m USD for the “Transforming Education in Cocoa Communities” programme (TRECC). The Jacobs Foundation will spend another 3.8 m USD if the goal will be reached in that period of time.
